Do
Are you
traveling outside of North America? We can help
to assure your protection from infectious diseases. We review the individual's
itinerary and recommend a complete and customized health plan to help protect
the traveler from infectious diseases. This consultation will be discussed with
you in depth by a board-certified Infectious Diseases physician.

All Travelers receive

food and water consumption and traveler's diarrhea

record immunizations
- The latest U.S.
State Department Travel Warnings and Consular Information Sheet providing
important information about the country visited
- Country-specific
information as provided by the CDC and CIA (maps, demographics, etc)

encephalitis virus

What You Should Do:
- Plan ahead
- Schedule your
consultation as soon as you know your travel plans. Immunizations generally
take ten to fourteen days to become effective
- Call for an
appointment. Patients are seen by appointment only. At that time we can
provide you with our office policy and answer any preliminary questions you
may have
- Provide us with
your itinerary and history of previous vaccinations
The
Staff:
- Dr.
Schenfeld is a Fellow of
the American
College of Physicians,
board-certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. He has been
providing travel medicine services in Johnstown, PA since 1982.
- Terri Schenfeld
RN is a full-time
registered nurse who assists in the administration of vaccines.

- Travel vaccines
are not covered by insurance carriers. We therefore expect payment by cash,
MasterCard or Visa at the time of service.
